Polar Start Wiring Diagrams

To find your wiring diagram, you need to find your 1976 cross reference number.

After opening your A/C unit look for the metal electric box housing the capacitors (look for a shock hazard warning label). 

Remove the access panel of that box and on the back of the panel, locate the wiring schematic shown above and find the number beginning with 1976. This will provide the cross reference number needed to identify the wiring diagram for your A/C.
